Management of Billoo cookies

Our Entry Point uses Cookies to allow Billoo to collect data about the visitors to the Entry Point and users of our services (that we may associate with Personal Information that we have collected from you) and to customise and personalise our Entry Point for its viewers. A “Cookie” is a small text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web server and is used by our Entry Point to identify your computer whenever you visit our Entry Point. Billoo uses Cookies to store your preferences and other related information. Billoo does not use Cookies to gather other information from your personal computer. Cookies may be removed by following Internet browser help file directions. If you choose to disable Cookies, some areas of the Entry Point may not work properly.

Personal Information management

One year from the last date of the calendar month in which your data is recorded your Personal Information is archived, and four years after its archive, your Personal Information is automatically made anonymous, unless it happens to still be active. You can modify these periods by sending a request to Billoo via the “Support” section on the Website. Your Personal Information is not transmitted in any form to businesses not belonging to Billoo.

Personal Information access review and change

You can have access at any moment, in real time and without any restrictions to all of your Personal Information and you may change any of the Personal Information in your account by editing your account information.

Disclosure of your Personal Information

We may disclose Personal Information to respond to legal requirements, enforce our policies, respond to claims that a listing or other content violates the rights of others, or to protect anyone’s rights, property, or safety. Such Personal Information will be disclosed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. We may also share your Personal Information with:
a) Members of Billoo’s trusted complainant program when we in our sole discretion believe such disclosure is reasonably necessary or appropriate in connection with an intellectual property infringement, piracy, or other unlawful activity. In such events, we will disclose name, street address, city, state, zip code, country, phone number, email address and company name.
b) Law enforcement or other governmental officials, in response to a verified request relating to a criminal investigation or alleged illegal activity. In such events, we will disclose information relevant to the investigation, such as name, city, state, zip code, telephone number, email address, user account history and IP address.
c) Without any limitation to the foregoing, and in an effort to respect your privacy and uphold the responsibilities of the Billoo membership, we undertake not to disclose your Personal Information to law enforcement, other government officials, or other third parties without an official request, Court Order or other similar legal process, except when we believe, in good faith, that the disclosure of Personal Information is necessary to prevent imminent physical harm, financial loss or to report suspected illegal activity.

Please note that if you access our Entry Point from a shared computer or a public computer, certain information about you (e.g. your user account) may be visible to other individuals who use the computer after you.

You may choose to stop receiving certain notifications at any time by clicking on the appropriate link or by sending an email to Billoo via the “Support” section on the Website.

Feedback

If you provide us with feedback, we may use such feedback for any purpose, provided we do not associate this feedback with your Personal Information. BILLOO will collect any information contained in such communication and will treat the Personal Information in the communication in accordance to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Third party sites

You may link to third party sites through the use of Billoo Entry Point only for your convenience. This does not mean that we endorse any of these other Entry Points, locations or their contents. We have no control over, do not review, and cannot be held responsible for these third party sites or their content. Please be aware that the terms of our Privacy Policy do not apply to these outside Entry Points.

Children

We do not intentionally gather Personal Information about visitors who are under the age of 16. IF YOU BELIEVE THAT WE HAVE COLLECTED PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT A VISITOR WHO IS UNDER THE AGE OF 16, PLEASE SEND AN EMAIL TO BILLOO, AND SUCH PERSONAL INFORMATION WILL BE DELETED.
